Pindari Trek

This world famous pindari glacier is a trekker’s paradise, as it is easier to visit than most other glaciers. This glacier is situated between snow capped NANDA DEVI and NANDAKOT mountains. The river Pindari originates from this glacier. The glacier is at an altitude of 3353 mtrs. The entire trekking tour route is filled to the brim with natural beauty.

|Trekking Itinerary (12 days)|
Day 1) At Delhi: Check in into the Hotel, preferably in Central Delhi. (Step 1 skips for Delhi customer)
Day 2) Delhi to Kathgodam: Overnight train/ bus from old Delhi station to Kathgodam.
Day 3) Arrival at Kathgodam 06:30 hrs. Drive to Nainital through the mountainous range of Kumaon (32 kms, 1 hrs). Fresh up and breakfast at Nainital. Departure for Song, lunch at Almora, evening tea at bageshwar, night stay at base camp, song. Preparation for high altitude trek.
Day 4) After breakfast, departure for Dhakuri camp. Trek of 5 hrs. Lunch in between. Bone fire, dinner and stay at Dhakuri camp.
Day 5) Breakfast at Dhakuri. Departure for Khati. Trek of 3 hrs. Lunch at Khati. Visit and experience the regional culture. Site seeing. Dinner and stay at khati.
Day 6) Breakfast at khati. Trek from Khati to Phurkia past Dwali along the Pindari river (3110 mts, 18 kms). Overnight stay.
Day 7) The long awaited view of Pindari glacier about to happen. Day time trek to the astonishing beauty of Pindari Glacier. Experience the splendor. Trek back to Phurkia. Dinner of Regional cuisine and stay at Phurkia.
Day 8) Trek back from Phurkia to Dwali. Dinner and stay at Dwali.
Day 9) Trek back from Dwali to Khati (2210 mts, 11kms).
Day 10) Trek back from Khati to Dhakuri (2621 mts, 18 kms)
Day 11) Trek from Dhakuri to Saung (15 kms) arrive by afternoon, past Bageshwar and check in at nanital for the night stay.
Day 12) After breakfast drive to Kathgodam (210 kms, 6 hrs). Train/Bus to Delhi. The train reaches Delhi the next morning 05:00 hrs.
